Angelina Jolie Adopting Haitian Orphan?

Angelina Jolie has debunked claims that she’s shopping around the earthquake-devastated nation of Haiti for a new adoptee.

The humanitarian baby collector is in Haiti this week touring refugee camps as part of her UN ambassador role, and according to The Sun she’s already spoken to the country’s president about providing more relief aid and about the possibility of adopting an orphaned child.

The mother of six slammed rumors that she and partner Brad Pitt are looking to add a Haitian to their brood in a chat with CNN’s Christiane Amanpour on Thursday night.

“I’m always open to children around the world. We’re that kind of a family; Brad and I talk about that,” Angelina answered in the interview airing on Friday. “But that’s not what we’re focusing on at this time, by any means. We’re not here for that.”

The Jolie-Pitts are already the parents of three adopted children: son Maddox is Cambodian, daughter Zahara is from Ethiopia, and son Pax was adopted from Vietnam in 2007.
