Maxwell Unveils New Songs At New York Show
R&B artist Maxwell unveiled his first new songs in seven years last night (October 9) during a show at Radio City Music Hall.
Billboard.com reports that songs called "Pretty Wings," "Bad Habits" and "Comb", which were performed last night during Maxwell's first tour in six years, will appear on the singer's up-coming album "Black Summer's Night."
"This song, it's about wanting to be with somebody but meeting them too early," Maxwell reportedly told the audience of "Pretty Wings."
Maxwell is known for such hits as "...Til the Cops Come Knockin'", "Sumthin' Sumthin'" and "Fortunate" but had been missing from the R&B scene for years up until recently.
There is currently no release date set for "Black Summer's Night."
