Janet Jackson Resumes Tour Following Mystery Illness!!!!!!!

After missing several dates on her Rock Witchu Tour, Janet Jackson
returned to the stage Wednesday night (October 15) in Washington D.C.,
showing no signs of the mystery illness -- now identified as vertigo --
that had her sidelined for the past two weeks.

The Associated Press reports that Jackson, rocking a faux-hawk, charged
the stage amid fireworks and clouds of smoke, performing several of her
earliest hits, including "Pleasure Principle," "Control," and "What
Have You Done for Me Lately."

"It feels so good to be back after being down just a little bit,"
Jackson told a crowd of screaming fans at D.C.'s Verizon Center, during
what ended up being a nearly two-hour set.

However, according to the AP, the pop singer look winded at times, and at one point, paused to admire her backup dancers.

At the end of her set, Jackson told the crowd, with tears in her eyes, "I love you, D.C., so much."

Her manager revealed that Jackson is feeling well enough to continue her first North American run in seven years.

The next show on her tour is scheduled for Friday night (October 17) in
East Rutherford, NJ. She also has shows scheduled in the coming weeks
in Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, and New York.
