Lil' Wayne Talks About Release Of "Tha Carter III: The Rebirth"

Lil' Wayne has announced that he will be releasing "Tha Carter III: The Rebirth" prior to releasing "Tha Carter IV."

"Tha Carter III: The Rebirth" is a re-release of the wildly successful "Tha Carter III" but with all new songs.

"I think we're gonna release Tha Carter III — a new Carter III with none of the same songs, though. None of them. Not one!" Wayne tells MTV.com. "We don't wanna call the [next album] we got coming out Tha Carter IV. That was the dilemma we were in. We want Carter IV to be what everybody wants it to be. This is something brand-new, so we don't want it to be some experimental thing, 'cause some people are not gonna like this. I don't want them to not like Tha Carter IV. But I do have an album coming soon, very soon, and it's gonna be called ... Tha Carter III: The Rebirth. The birth of a new beginning."

Wayne tells MTV that the re-release will feature material that was slated for the original C3. He's also considering including several of the "A Milli" versions from artists like Lil' Mama and Tyga.

"I had a song with [Luda] called 'Eat You Alive' that was supposed to be on [the first] Tha Carter III. That will be on the new Carter III," Wayne told MTV.

No release date has been announced for "Tha Carter III: The Rebirth."

i thought he would have put them on a special version of the cd, but he didnt...and then i heard about the superman mixtape and you know what it is vol 5 with those unreleased tracks but iono when that'll come out..

i doubt if game put out another LAX.
