Why Do You Rap Or Make Music?

I do it for my father, he was deported and I need money to get him back. I do it cuz it's all I know, I do it for myself, I do it to prove i'm king and i'm best. I do it so I can make it out of the situation i'm in and prove to other people I can be successful without having some form of college degree.

Why do you do it?

I do it for Hip-Hop... i do it cuz people love music & i do too... I have the ability to make my own music that people are gonna like so I'mma do it... cuz it makes you millions if u can take your music far enough... so when you have the abilities and the talents to do so, then why NOT?

i do it because i love to. the money and all is good but im from the bottom my nigga its nuffin to get paid but i'd rather do it legit. my whole family is or was involved in some aspect of the music industry. i tought since im maybe one of the greatest to do it lol i should capitalize on the opportunity. i got money already but if this works out how i plan it to im putting my money into the community. i went too many years and witnessed too many people get out of Flint and do nuffin for us. i want to open a Rec Center so the kids can stay out of the streets. i want to buy and fix houses to raise the property value in the hoods. i want to try and stop all of this stupid ass violence. i know i want a lot but change starts one at a time. maybe i'll influence more people to try and do something to help our communities.

I've been inspired by rap music/hip-hop music since I was little ass kid... I used to write my own shit when I was like 8 or 7... never made alot of sense or was any good... But shit only gets better with time, and thats how it was with me... I was mainly inspired by eminem when I was young...

if thats what hip hop has come to then i dont want to be a part of it. i want to show that hip hop is more than Ice ad Tattoos its an expression. its emotion. people like Weezy, Kanye, Jay-Z, BEANIE SIGEL. i look up to them cats
