Tyra Banks Show To END In 2010!

TYRA BANKS will hang up her talk show microphone once her current fifth season ends in the spring (10).

The former supermodel-turned-TV presenter has won two Daytime Emmy Awards for her Tyra Banks Show, but she has announced her plans to quit her popular programme to focus more attention on her new film production company, Bankable Studios.

She tells People.com, "This will be the last season of The Tyra Show."

In a statement to fans, she adds, "I've been loving having fun, coming into your living rooms, bedrooms, hair salons for the past five years.

"My next huge steps will allow me to reach more women and young girls to help us all feel as fierce as we truly are."

Banks has reassured fans they won't be seeing the back of her anytime soon, despite her daily talk show coming to an end.

In a note on her official website, Banks writes, "There's a lot cooking right now and a lot of fire burning in my heart. And I salute you my amazing family of viewers; without you there never would have been a Tyra Show. I really love you all."
