Lil Wayne is still blowing away the competition on the Billboard charts when it comes to hip-hop. The Cash Money star lands at number six on this week’s Top 200 selling over 61,000 copies of Tha Carter III to bring his total sales to 2.2 million copies.

Yung Berg and Nas are the next rappers on the chart. Berg moved just over 19,000 copies of his debut, Look What You Made Me, to land at number 20. And Nas’ untitled project sits at number 12 on the charts with over 18,000 copies sold; his 10-week total is 335,000.

Plies and David Banner are holding down spots 35 and 36, respectively. Plies’ sophomore set, Definition of Real is almost Gold with 458,000 copies moved; last week the Florida native sold close to 12,000 copies.

Banner sold almost 12,000 copies of his recent LP, Greatest Story Ever Told, to bring his total to just over 113,000 units moved.

Three 6 Mafia hold the down the number 48 slot after selling a touch over 10,000 copies. Their eight-week total for Last 2 Walk sits at 206,000 copies sold.

G-Unit continues to plummet. The 50 Cent-led crew lands at number 77, down from 68 last week. Their second group project, T.O.S., sold 6,500 copies for a gross total of just under 200,000 units sold.—Anthony Thomas
