I met this chick who I went to school with and fell for her, we chilled a lot that sem. and I really liked her but she considered me just a friend, a good friend because she too had a boyfriend. Anyways, I'd tell her how you feel. Bein a dude, I would normally not tell you to do that but if you REALLY like her, and she's in a relationship with a douchebag and he's in your way and she doesn't have the right perception of you (just being a friend), be truthful and just chill with her more and more.
