BREAKING NEWS: KANYE WEST ARRESTED!!!!

Kanye West was arrested this morning (September 11) in Los Angeles on suspicion of vandalism after an altercation with a photographer.

According to MSNBC, West was arrested along with his road manager shortly before 8 a.m. this morning at Los Angeles International Airport.

Airport spokesman Marshall Lowe says it appears West was arrested after an altercation with a working photographer leaving a $10,000 piece of equipment broken.

TMZ.com has posted an account of what happened as the altercation is said to have involved their cameraman Erik. The following is TMZ's account:

"Erik says he was at Terminal 4 (American Airlines) when he noticed a still photog taking several pictures of Kanye West. Erik says West rushed the photog and grabbed his camera. A struggle ensued and the still guy was screaming, "Police, help!" Erik

says Kanye then took the still camera and threw it on the ground, breaking it into pieces.

Erik then went over to Kanye, his camera rolling, when Kanye's body guard walked up to him, realized Erik was taping, and said, "Give me the camera, give me the camera." Erik responded that he had a press pass and had a right to shoot. The assistant then grabbed the camera, ripped off the mic and viewfinder and smashed it to the ground."

Following this, West reportedly tried to board the plane but was stopped by police. After police questioned TMZ cameraman Erik as to whether or not he filmed the incident (which he had), West allegedly lunged at Erik saying "Give me the fu***ng videotape." Cops are then said to have restrained West.

TMZ also reports that they will be posting a video of the incident soon.
