Russell Crowe Helps Snoop Dogg Perform In Australia!!!!!!!

Despite being dogged by controversy, U.S rapper and Rabbitohs supporter Snoop Dogg has been allowed into the country, after his good mate Russell Crowe helped lift a ban placed against him by the Department of Immigration.

Snoop Dogg, real name Cordozar Calvin Broadus, Jr, had problems applying for a visa to enter Australia due to his failure of a character test – with his history of drug and weapons offences making him an undesirable character to authorities.

But in Snoop’s defence, Gladiator actor Crowe stepped up to the plate as a reference for Broadus, writing a letter to authorities on his behalf.

"I submit to you that Snoop Dogg poses no threat to Australia or to any individual in this country," he wrote.

"He has toured here three times before without incident and there are no reasons to assume this tour will be anything but the positive experience the last three have been.”

Rusty’s influence gave Snoop Dogg an undeniable leg up – enabling the Drop It Like It’s Hot singer to perform as part of the West Coast Originals tour, with rap legends Ice Cube and Bone Thugs N Harmony.

It’s also been reported that he will make a slight detour from the road show to feature at the prestigious Lavazza marquee at the Melbourne Cup.
