Lil Wayne Snaps 12 BET Hip Hop Award Nods!!!!!!!

Lil Wayne leads this years nominees at the BET Awards, grabbing 12
nods including ‘Lyricist of the Year’ and ‘Best Video ‘(”Lollipop”).
Kanye West is nominated for 7 awards including ‘Best Live Performer’
and ‘CD Of The Year’ while Jay-Z racked up 6 nods including the top
lyricist. Katt Williams will host this years BET Awards on Thursday,
October 23 at 8 p.m. EST in Atlanta.

In other Weezy headlines, Lil Wayne recently re-signed to his label
Cash Money Records. Bryan “Baby” Williams says “Working with our son,
Lil’ Wayne, throughout the many years has helped us build Cash Money
into the empire it is today,” Williams said, continuing “Cash Money is
a family and Lil’ Wayne has been part of our family since day one.”

Lil Wayne was scheduled to be back in court today in New York but due
to witness scheduling issues, the hearing was postponed. As we
previously reported, his lawyer recently broke down the NYPD saying the
arresting officer was blocks away when she says she smelled marijuana
coming from Wayne’s bus.
