Quincy Jones Working On New Album

Quincy Jones is currently in the studio working on a new album that will see top Hip-Hop, R&B and Rock artists record songs written and produced by Jones.

According to Foxnews.com, the compilation will hit stores next year. The first collaboration confirmed will see John Mayer and Usher appearing on the same song and others are in the works.

"We’re trying to set up something for Mariah Carey now," said Jones.

Jones also spoke on turning down Michael Jackson's offer to work on his new album saying that he told "the king of Pop" that they had recorded successful albums together and couldn't go back.

"'Thriller' took 12 weeks," Jones recalled. "'Bad' took three years."
