Would-be 'hijackers' arrested after police storm plane.

wo men were arrested after armed German police stormed the plane they
were reportedly planning to hijack at Cologne-Bonn airport.

Officers from the special police force took the two men into custody at
6.55am CET this morning as they were aboard the KLM flight preparing to
leave for Amsterdam. They have been identified as a Somalian (23) and a
German man (24) born in the Somali capital Mogadishu.

The pair had been under watch by German police and security forces for
months. An LKA [regional police force] spokesman confirmed the arrest
to us.

German security forces remain on high alert as they continue the hunt
for young German Islamist and suspected terrorist Eric Breininger, who
is reportedly set to carry out a terrorist attack in Germany.
