Eminem's New Book 'The Way I Am' Set For October Release Date!!!!!!!

Eminem will be releasing a new book on October 21st called "The Way I
Am." The new book will chronical parts of his life in his own words
plus feature original handwritten lyric sheets, original artwork by
Eminem, and never before seen photos. To celebrate the release of
Eminem's book, his radio station Shade 45 will have a special event in
New York on October 15th plus they announced a contest where the grand
prize winner will get "roundtrip airfare, two nights hotel to New York,
the signed book, the pair of headphones and the free trip to NYC, the
grand prize winner will also receive a specially designed pair of
limited edition Eminem inspired Air Jordan 2 sneakers" 5 finalists for
the contest will also win a signed copy of the book and a pair of
'Beats By Dre' headphones. To enter the contest, go here!

According to Paul Rosenberg, Eminem's Manager, the first printing of
the book will include a DVD with Eminem's personally shot video footage
and unreleased interviews.

The lyrics sheets we mentioned before will be detachable while the
cover is a "red acetate film that slides over the book print," you
might have seen this with Jay-Z's "Kingdom Come" CD. The red jacket
masks the collage of Eminem's handwritten lyrics on top of the photo
underneath.

In related news 50 Cent recently spent time with Eminem to record new
songs for his upcoming album. 50 Cent told Blender Magazine "Dre sent
over a bunch of beats, and we're just going through them all, picking
out who wants what." 50, who was speaking from Eminem's house in
Detroit (where he was staying the night) finished by saying "We already
finished one joint" - the Slim Shady-starring "Norman Bates Motel" -
"and just started vocals on another. It's gonna blow you away, I
guarantee."

50 Cent's new album, Before I Self Destruct, is due December 9th.
