Sharp demonstrated its 52-inch LCD TV powered by solar
energy in Tokyo Japan during CEATEC 2008. The television runs off the
juice of a single attached solar panel. Additionally, since the 52-inch
LCD is illuminated by LEDs, its power draw is reduced to 220KWh. More
pictures on the other side of the jump.
