Beyonce Opens Up About Marriage To Jay-Z

After shrowding the relationship in secrecy, Beyonce has finally opened up about her marriage to Jay-Z.

According to People, Beyonce speaks to Essence about the marriage in their November issue.

"What Jay and I have is real. It's not about interviews or getting the right photo op. It's real," the singer tells Essence magazine in its November issue.

Beyonce goes on to explain why she didn't want an engagement ring prior to getting married.

"People put too much emphasis on that," she says. "It's just material and it's just silly to me."

The Destiny's Child member says their wedding was small and intimate because she is not a "traditional woman" and says that she always knew the marriage to Jay-Z would happen.

"We've been together a long time," she says.

In other news, Beyonce recently released the first two singles from her up-coming album "I Am" entitled "If I Were A Boy" and "Single Ladies" respectively.
