Tom Brady Has Knee Surgery!!!!!!!

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady underwent surgery to
repair the torn ACL in his left knee at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic
Clinic in Los Angeles.

When asked for an update on Brady’s status, Bill Belichick refused.

“We’re not going to comment on anybody’s situation,” Belichick
says. “We’re not going to get into a daily update. I’m just worried
about the San Diego Chargers right now. That’s what we’re focused on.”

Tom Brady will have 11 months to recover before the start of the 2009
season and don’t expect there to be any type of quarterback controversy
between him and Matt Cassell when that time rolls around.
