Kanye West Previews "808's & Heartbreak"

Kanye West previewed his new album "808's & Heartbreak" last night (October 14) in Los Angeles.

The event was held at the Ace Gallery in Los Angeles. According to TheFader's report, the album was played in its entirety without interruption.

West reportedly sings for the entire album with the exception of a Young Jeezy guest verse on "Amazing" and a duet with Lil' Wayne. The Auto-Tune voice effect is used for the majority of the album.

TheFader reports that most songs focus on a break-up with the exception of "Cold Winter", a tribute to West's late mother Dr. Donda West. West told the crowd that the album was about "emotional nakedness."

At the end of the listening session, West reportedley said that he would have a new album out in June 2009.
