"Swagga Like Us" Video Info

The powers that be at Atlantic, Def Jam and Cash Money are talking to try and make a video for the hit "Swagge Like Us" happen. While working out the kinks and the politics regarding the track have been complicated so far, (First....we heard it was on Paper Trail, then it appeared on ITunes under Jay's name for Blueprint 3 and it was thought that Jay wrestled away from Tip, until it appeared on the final tracklisting of Paper Trail.)

While we aren't completely sold on the track living up to its potential, a visual just might help. Apparently the camp that is pushing for this the hardest is coming from Kanye. Tip recently put something out there saying that the video is trying to get worked out, but since then, things have really began to move.

Who possibly would direct the video? Hype Williams of course.

Hype has laid low the last few years since music video budgets has been a budget line that has been cut. Hype used to average almost 20 videos a year and now is doing about half that with only several of those videos being regularly in rotation on video channels.

Why doesn't videos and projects like this happen more? These are the kind of things that are good for hip hop and create a general interest in the culture.

Id love to see what theyd set up a video w/ all them egos...
