Lil Wayne's "A Milli" Had A Ghost Producer? We10

"A Milli" helped Weezy sell....well.....a milli in the first week Tha Carter III was released. The song was huge and you heard it from every trunk all around the country (Mutha F***a IM ILLLLLLLL). Turns out, there seems to be some drama unfolding regarding the production of the track.

A reporter by the name of Rahiem Shabazz (X) has signed contracts, statements and etc showing proof and documentation that an ATL producer named "Cha Lo" was the actual producer of the track. Not Bangladesh who has gotten the credit and ultimately seen his stock rise in the last 6 months. The last certified hit Bangladesh had was in 2000 with "What's Ya Fantay"....yeah, its been that long. Per the agreement that is below, Cha Lo was supposed to be credited as producing "additional elements" of the beat. But when the packaging for the album was finished, guess what? Cha Lo was not mentioned or credited in the album.

All of this came to light when the song was nominated for a BET award this last week. In order to celebrate the nomination, Bangladesh threw a party in Atlanta and did not invite, extend the welcome or contact Cha Lo for the event. The lack of respect has prompted the following documents to be released.

This has been happening in the music industry since forever. Scott Storch ring a bell? The man made the "Real Slim Shady" beat and got credited for playing the keys on it. Not to mention Danja Handz is doing ALL of Timbo's beats right now. In doing some research, the last Britney Spears album was examined (for research, we swear) and the beats (which Danja is credited for) sound like they could be left overs from Shock Value. Now people can make the argument that Danja learned the style from Timbo and Timbo is the "producer" while Danja is simply a "beat maker".

We aren't buying it. Are you?
