David Beckham has denied rumors that pal Tom Cruise is trying to recruit him into the Church of Scientology.

“I respect any person’s religion but he’s never pushed anything on to
us. Friends don’t do that,” the 33-year-old soccer ace says in the
December issue of GQ Magazine.

“I’m not too religious. But I believe there is something out there that looks after you,” David added.
