Jesse Jackson Jr. Would Be "HONORED" To `Replace OBAMA!!!!!!!

Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. is fully embracing the idea of taking Barack Obama's place in the U.S. Senate should the Democratic senator be voted in the White House on Nov. 4.

The decision, however, will be left up to Democratic Gov. Rod Blagojevich, who is in charge of appointing a successor to the state's U.S. Senate seat if Obama wins the presidential election, according to Eurweb.com.

"If Senator Obama wins — and I'm optimistic that he will — I indeed would be honored and humbled to succeed him in the U.S. Senate. But, in the end, the decision rests with Gov. Blagojevich, and I'm confident that he'll make an appointment in the best interest of the state as well as the nation," Jackson said in a statement.

Jackson Jr. is currently the co-chairman of Obama's presidential campaign. He also came to Obama's defense when his father, the Rev. Jesse Jackson, infamously suggested doing symbolic bodily harm to him.
