WORLD SERIES Game 5 'Suspended' In The 6th Inning!!!!!!!

Game 5 of the World Series was suspended in the 6th inning with the
Philadelphia Phills and Tampa Bay Rays tied at 2-all due to a heavy
rainstorm.

Weather permitting the game will resume Tuesday night at 8 p.m. ET in Philadelphia.

“I can’t tell you tonight when we’ll resume,” commissioner Bud
Selig said. “We’ll stay here if we have to celebrate Thanksgiving here.”

This marked the first rain-shortened game in World Series history

“The World Series always should be decided by nine innings with
somebody making the final out, not the weather or natural disasters or
whatever,” Rays reliever Trever Miller said. “That’s what fans pay to
see. That’s what we work hard for all year.”

The weather forecast for Tuesday does not look good, the game will most likely be postponed until Wednesday.
