VH1 forces Tiffany "New York" Pollard to make apology?!?!?!

If theres one thing we despise more than self serving reality TV stars its.....well....actually, there is nothing we despise more than self serving reality TV stars. They view themselves as the center of the world and their only purpose is to do whatever crazy s*** they can think of to get more publicity. Well....it works. Because you are reading this blog.

Just over two weeks, news broke that Jennifer Hudson was now engaged to David Otunga. Some guy that had appeared on "I Love New York" in the second season. Although she was not asked about the engagement, she decided to give it anyway. Here is what she said:

"He's really loving being Mr. Jennifer Hudson. I think he's loving the lavish things she brings to his life, he's seeing the world due to Jennifer's success," Pollard told In Touch Weekly in a Wednesday report. "[But] can you love this person if they lose all of this tomorrow? [Hudson] needs to find out. I just hope people are marrying each other for the right reasons. It's a mixed match, it won't work. He'll be in her shadow like Al Reynolds was to Star Jones, like Stedman Graham is to Oprah."

Now in the last few days, Hudson has been thrust into a tragic spotlight. Her mother, her brother and her nephew were murdered just this past weekend in an attempt to extort Hudson for cash. Now AGAIN....nobody asked her to break her silence about the issue, but here is New York's statement:



Now what really caused New York to come out with this apology and statement to the Hudson family? Is it genuine? Did VH1 play a part at all?

Lucky for you, we have those answers. We are hearing that while New York was willing and the apology is heartfelt, there was a recommendation from the network to clear the air. They want to make it entirely clear that New York is simply a character and that Pollard is able to be a "real person".
