Ghostface Upset With Def Jam?!?! Trying To Leave The Label??? Gf10

It seems like the Wu Tang Clan members just can't ever seem to be happy no matter where they are. Method Man has not been happy with Def Jam for awhile. Raekwon is looking for a home and now Ghostface is attempting to get out of his Def Jam contract by releasing album after album after album.

So what exactly is he not happy about? We are hearing that he feels passed over for other artists that received bigger promotion and more attention. Which artists you may ask? While it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out, we are thinking Ne-Yo, Rihanna, Mariah and Jigga.

Today it was announce that you should prepare for Ghostface's 4th album in just 2 years. After 2006's "Fishscale" abum, Ghost offered "More Fish", a collection of B-Sides, Remixes and more for fans several months later and then "The Big Doe Rehab last year. And then after working on the last Wu Tang album, Ghost went right back to work on his new album now titled "Ghostdeini". What is even more odd, is that the album is virtually the same idea he had for "More Fish". It is a mix of old cuts, some new remixes and new verses on old tracks.

So why put out such a diluted project that will only give the fans a small taste of a real album? Our people are telling us that Ghost has NOT been happy with Def Jam for awhile and is trying to put out as many albums as he can, as quickly as possibly to get out of his contract.

Why would Ghost go in and create a WHOLE new album when he can just remix a few tracks, lay down a few new verses and throw it together and Def Jam will count it against his album count. He is trying to do the least amount of work possible and still get out of his deal. The real question is, how many albums is Ghost is locked down for and how soon can he put an album out after that.

The way most contract work is that when you are released from your contract, you have to wait a certain amount of time before you can out your next project to let the fans pick up the records. If you are constantly flooding retail with albums, the fans are less likely to pick up the albums that the major label owns. So just where will Ghostface go? Place your bets on an indie, but not on Koch. Very few people have been super successful and even fewer have been paid by Koch.
