Jermaine Jackson: Jackson 5 Coming In '09

According to recent comments by Jermaine Jackson, legendary group the Jackson 5 will be reuniting, releasing new music and touring in 2009.

Billboard.com reports that Jermaine made the comments about the Jackson 5 at a TV function in Sydney, Australia today (October 29).

"It is just the timing, so what we've been doing is working on the music and all the logistics. It is going to be more like a family affair, Janet's going to open and, of course, the original Jackson 5 ... Michael, Randy and the whole family ... We're in the studio, we're planning on being out there next year."

And while the comments were made in a serious tone, Jermaine went the opposite direction when asked a direct question about the current location of Michael Jackson.

"I don't know. I think he's in Egypt riding a camel or something," Jermaine said.
