Swizz Beats 'Honored' `For Community Service

SWIZZ BEATZ has received the Breakthrough Spirit Award at The Children's Cancer + Blood Foundation (Ccbf) on 28 October (08) in New York City for his work with sick children at a New York hospital. In receiving the award, Swizz said "I was really impressed by the dedication of the doctors and researchers, and the struggle and bravery of the children. It was a moving experience for me and I am very honored to be a recipient of this year's Spirit Award."

Swizz is also composing a song inspired by the kids of the CCBF entitled "One Day", and will contribute all of the proceeds of the song to the Foundation.
