Is Balfour Innocent... Mother Of 'Alleged' Gunman Says Murders Were `Drug Related!!!!!!! FUCKUPAYMEUNDERRATEDOVERWORKEDUNDERPAID

As previously reported by Yo! Raps, Jennifer Hudson's mother,
brother, and nephew were murdered last weekend in a bloody home
invasion and kidnapping. Police arrested her sister's estranged
husband, William Balfour, as a person of interest.

But during an interview with [CNN's Nancy Grace,]
Michele Davis-Balfour (William Balfour's mother) said her son is
innocent and that she thinks the unfortunate killings may have been
drug related.

"My son was not arrested, he turned himself in," Davis-Balfour
clarified. "It's also a lie that he was caught with a weapon. The truth
is that Jason [Hudson] was selling drugs out of the house."

According to reports, Jason Hudson (Jennifer's brother) did have a history with drug dealing.

The celebrity based website said they obtained arrest reports in
connection with a sting operation alleging Jason and Gregory King, the
father of 7-year-old Julian King, sold crack cocaine out of the home
where Jason was killed.

According to the documents, Jason, Gregory, and Julia (Jennifer's sister) were all arrested when police raided the home in 2002.

Although Julia was never charged with a crime, Jason was charged with
cocaine trafficking. The main count was subsequently dismissed after
the judge rule police conducted an illegal search.

Gregory was convicted and Jason enrolled in a drug program.

According to the Chicago Police Department, Jason, Gregory, and the
"person of interest" William Balfour, were all a part of the same gang,
Gangster Disciples.

Reports are also confirming that Balfour had his own run-ins with the
law. He was released from prison in 1999 after serving time for
attempted murder. He was also arrested for cocaine possession in June
of this year.

But Balfour's mom insists her son's cocaine arrest was Julia's fault.

"He was not living with Julia at the time. He went by to see her. When
he came out there was a shooting in the area," Davis-Balfour said. "The
police automatically pulled him over. They searched the car and found
drugs. There was no probable cause so the charges were dropped. He
thought the police planted the drugs but it was Julia. She was upset
because he was dating another girl."

Although Balfour has not been formally charged with any crime in
connection to the murders, reports are surfacing about his refusal to
take a lie detector test.
