Sources Say Nate Dogg Is Now Breathing On His Own

We all know his voice and at the drop of a hat, we can start singing one of his famous hooks. So when last year word came out that singer Nate Dogg had suffered a fatal stroke, the hip hop community was in schock. The rumors eventually cleared and we learned that Nate had NOT passed away. Apparently, Nate had suffered a stroke AFTER he had suffered a heart attack and was taken in immediately to Pomona Valley Medical Center in Pomona, CA. Nate was eventually released the day after Christmas into a medical rehab facility to assist him in his recovery.

Word came out eventually that the stroke had actually paralyzed the left half of Nate's body, a normal reaction to stroke. Things eventually took a turn for the worse and Nate suffered a second stroke just over 6 weeks ago and was once again in medical treatment.

But now, after nearly 6 weeks in the hospital, sources have told us that not only is Nate ready to be released, he is actually able to comfortably breathe on his own, without the assistance of a breathing tube. This is a HUGE step for a man that just 6 weeks ago, had half of his body paralyzed and could not breathe on his own. And for you Nate Dogg fans, we've also heard that the man's singing voice WAS NOT affected. But at times like this, his health is what matters most.

We certainly hope these sources are right on and that Nate is getting ready to be released. The west would not be the same without Nate Dogg singing on some hooks. For some reason, every summer song is just 10 times hotter when you have him on the hook.
