David Banner Compares Himself and Rick Ross To Jesus!

We've heard some rappers make some bold claims and say some ridiculous things, but this has to be there right up there with the best of them. While filming an interview for a documentary on the relationship between Christianity and Hip Hop, Rick Ross was asked several questions about how his faith comes into play in his rhymes. After answering numerous questions about artist responsibility and if his rhymes could be seen as hypocritical being that he calls himself a person of faith, Ross looked visibly uncomfortable talking about the issues and tried to corral in David Banner to assist him.

Banner had us with his statements up until the moment where he started saying that rappers like himself and Rick Ross could be considered modern day Jesus Christ's. Like Jesus, they have been publicly tried for their sins and crucified for what people have thought was wrong.....or so says Banner's ego.

Wow. There seems to be a problem with modern day celebrities likening their problems and life styles with tragic historic figures. Jesus Christ was the son of God....David Banner and Rick Ross are not the sons of god....but that won't stop them from thinking that they have similar troubles and problems as the son of god. Jesus Christ would not be flossin with the butterfly doors....nor would he be sayin' he's the biggest boss that you seen thus far. Know what we're sayin'?

Do Banner and Ross need to come back down to earth a little bit? Or can their struggles kind of be compared to that of Jesus Christ?
