Bobby Brown & Whitney Houston Getting Back Together?

These two have been through so much we get a little dizzy every time we think about it all. They were married in the early 90's and everyone said it wouldn't work. The line of thinking was that Bobby Brown was too much of a bad a** and Whitney Houston was way too conservative for him because at the time, she was considered one of America's Sweethearts. They seemingly proved everyone wrong and "appeared" happy for the most part throughout the 1990's despite Brown's constant run in's with the law.

He began to get in trouble with the law including charges of sexual harassment, drunk driving, assault charges and even several stints in jail. In 2004, Brown landed in a Georgia jail for some time for violating his probation from a drunk driving charge he received years earlier. After that, the drug rumors began to surface. While it was mainly the tabloids who were reporting this, there was definitely a decline in the appearance and the health of Brown and Houston. We know what crack hears look like and there are a few pictures out there where Whitney and Bobby look like they belong on the block offering cheeseburgers for some crack.

In 2006, Brown launched his own reality series titled "Being Bobby Brown" on Bravo in an attempt to show the public their affection and devotion for one another. While the show was a success in some way (it did get picked up for a 2nd season), Whitney did suffer some backlash from critics who thought she came off a little....well....how do we say....intense? Yeah....intense might work. Not to mention she talked about taking a deuce. That's just something we didn't want to hear about, know what we're saying? Unfortunately, like most couples who turn to reality shows (Carmen Electra & Dave Navarro, Jessica Simpson & Nick Lachey, Hulk & Linda Hogan....we could go on), the couple decided to divorce and end their long time relationship right after their reality show ended its run.

But now we're hearing rumors that Bobby has been going around telling several friends and family members that they are planning on getting back together and remarrying. WHAAAAA???? Sources say that the couple rekindled their romance no more than a month ago, but decided to take things slowly in order to do things right. Eventually, they both decided that they truly were the best for each other and mutually decided that they were going to get remarried. On top of that, we're also hearing that Bobby has considered filming a NEW reality shows about the reconciliation between the two to allow everyone to see what happens up close and personal.

Hmmm...We aren't too sure about this. To be honest, the main reason we think they are getting back together is that they have been together for so long, neither one of them truly knows what its like to be with anyone else. Without the other person, they feel lost. They seem to be falling back into the comfort zone and just want to have the other person be there for them. Not because it may be the best thing for either. We've seen this happens a million times before (yes...we watch Dr. Phil) and it never seems to work out.

Do you think Bobby & Whitney can work things out? Would filming a reality show about it be a mistake?
