3 Canadian SOLDIERS KILLED In Afghanistan

Three Canadian soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan. The
deaths push to 100 the total number of troops Canada has lost in the
war-wracked country.

The soldiers were riding in an armored vehicle while on patrol
Friday when they struck an improvised explosive device west of Kandahar
city in the Arghandab district in the southern part of the country.

The names of the victims have not been released.

Fourteen Canadian soldiers have killed by IED attacks in Afghanistan this year.

The latest fatalities are the first from the current rotation of Canadian soldiers who arrived in Kandahar in mid-September.
