Diddy WANTS To REMIX `'New Year's Ball' In Big Apple

Hip-Hop mogul DIDDY and CIROC Vodka hope to make history by changing the appearance of New York's iconic New Year's Eve ball.

Diddy and CIROC aim to alter the ball's historic look by making it
reflect the vodka's blue sphere and they are willing to donate $1
million to a charity on behalf of the Big Apple if the proposal is
granted.

"As the official vodka of New Year's Eve, it's only fitting that we
take over New York, the most iconic New Year's city in the world,"
Diddy said in a statement. "I'm going to give every adult in America a
taste of what it's like to enjoy a sophisticated celebration with
Diddy, and what better time than while ringing in the New Year."

While details are still scarce, the blue coloring would reportedly
represent a unique plant that grows in the Gaillac region of France,
where CIROC is produced, and serve as a symbol of prosperity.

As of now, there has been no word on whether city officials would take up the offer.

In related news, Diddy is reportedly going to help celebrate the
transition into 2009 by hosting a party in Miami, Florida next week.

According to Star Magazine, the Bad Boy CEO will be on hand with Maroon
5's Adam Levine and Chace Crawford at Miami's Fontainebleau nightclub.
