Last year KanYe West battled with 50 Cent to see who was the top star in hip hop and he said everybody knows I won.

Now we are hearing that KanYe is looking to step it up a notch.
According to a very trusted insider KanYe West is looking to move up
his new CD release date to compete against the top selling artist
Beyonce Knowles.

The insider tells us, "KanYe West doesn't want to be considered just the best hip hop artist - he wants the title of the best artist." And that title, according to our insider, is held by Beyonce.
