Janet Jackson Forced To Change Show In Detroit

According to reports, Janet Jackson was forced to change her stage show last night (October 28) in Detroit in order to comply with a Michigan state law.

Billboard.com says that officials from the Palace of Auburn Hills approached Jackson's team prior to the show expressing concern about a three-song section of her show where she simulates sex acts onstage.

The concern was over a Michigan state law that prohibits simulated sex acts in a public performing space.

Jackon's manager Kenneth Crear released the following statement:

"Janet did not want to disappoint her Detroit-area fans again, so we adhered to Michigan's state ordinance and trimmed the 'Discipline' segment of the show so it would not be canceled."
