What Is Going On With Ja Rule??? Has He Heen Shelved?!?!? Ja10

Last year, Ja kind of had a few people excited about his new album titled "The Mirror" based on his first single with Lil Wayne titled "Uh-Ohhh!". The album was set to be released that September, then was moved back to November. THEN to 2008 and now it appears to have been shelved.

Universal Motown entered an agreement with The (Murder) Inc. almost 2 years ago in a deal to distribute and help reinvigorate the label. They do not seem to be happy with the results thus far. On top of the numerous delays that Ja had, The Inc.'s album by Pop singer Vanessa Carlton did squat, so did the Ashanti album and it seems as though Universal has decided to shelve the entire Murder Inc. release schedule until they come with something new a different and better (Lloyd seems to be the exception, the elf looking kid went platinum).

So where does that leave Ja? Apparently, he is still hitting the studio and knocking out tracks, but the album is at a stand still at this point. His attitude is currently, "If it happens, it happens". He doesn't seem to be sweating the situation at all. We think it's because he is finally admitting it to himself that the fans really don't miss him.

You have to remember that Ja has sold over 20 million records. Probably more than that worldwide and that he really doesn't need the money anymore. Hell, he can do a movie or two a year and still make enough bread to eat and take care of his family. What does he need to put out a record for? That's quit a lot of work to only make a little bit of money. Not only do you have to spend a crazy amount of time in the studio, but the hours upon hours of promoting and marketing the records takes forever.

Why not just work on a movie set for 2 weeks, make your 200K and call it a wrap? We're hearing that is Ja's mentality at the moment.

Do you even miss Ja? Is it ever gonna be the same since 50 ended it for him almost 6 years ago?
