Havoc Clears Up Rumors Of Prodigy's Near Death

A few days ago, we posted an interview with NORE to where he detailed and sent out concern for a recent incident that Prodigy went through while in prison. Apparently, NORE had heard that while in prison that P was given the incorrect medication for his sickle cell anemia and was nearly killed. Apparently, that doesn't seem to be the case and it looks like NORE got some bad information.

So he has only been in jail for not even a year, but apparently an attempt on his life has already been made. But not the type you think. Nobody tried to shank him. Nobody tried to throw him off the top floor of the jail and no one tried to strangle him. We've now heard from another N.O.R.E. video blog, that Prodigy was almost killed in prison when he was given the incorrect medication by the prison staff.

Once the rumors started, Havoc was contact and gave a quick interview about the situation, clearing it up by saying, "His health is good as far as I know, he's in good spirits. He wants to get the f*ck out but he's feeling good. We just want to hurry up and get him home and get back to normal life."

We're aren't sure how normal of a life you can have after you serve 3 1/2 years. He won't get out until 2011 and Havoc even said that NO Mobb Deep material would be released until he is free from prison. Whether or not it will be on G-Unit Records, remains to be seen however. Havoc did say that they still had a good relationship with Fifty, they just aren't completely sure where they will land when P is freed in just over 3 years.

We're glad that P is fine and the mix up was just merely a mix up of communication and not really a mix up that would put someone's life in danger.
