Ol' Dirty Bastard's 'Life Chronicled' In NEW BOOK.... Lawyer 'Questions' His MENTAL STATE [R.I.P. Nov 15, 1968 - Nov 13, 2004] !!!

Ol' Dirty Bastard was one of hip hop's most eccentric and beloved characters. But a new book chronicling the life and death of the Wu-Tang rapper is said to have some people questioning his sanity.

The book, Digging For Dirt, centers around ODB's rocky rise and features insight on the rapper's like from some of the members of The Wu, friends, family, and associates.

The book also tries to pinpoint the reasoning for some of the rapper's strange behavior. ODB's lawyer, Robert Shapiro, who is also featured in the book, suggests his behavior may have been due to some undisclosed mental issues.

"It's possible his behavior was a result of mental illness," Shapiro said. "One time he had his hat on backward, had on two different shoes, and he stood with his back to the judge with his hat facing the judge as if he was looking at the judge."

Born Russell Tyrone Jones, ODB died of an accidental drug overdose in 2004.

Digging For Dirt is scheduled to hit stores on December 12.
