Kanye West's highly-anticipated new album 808s & Heartbreak was released on Monday (Nov. 24) via Def Jam.


We have learned that the set is on pace to sell between 450,000-500,000 copies based on first-day estimates. That would be Ye's third biggest debut of his career after Graduation and Late Registration.


DTP recording artist and actor Ludacris is reported to sell 175,000-225,000 copies of his new LP Theater Of The Mind. But according to an insider, Luda's manager Chaka Zulu isn't happy with the promotion at Def Jam and the decision to release both projects on the same day.

i dont know if i like luda's album better than Ye's.

Luda did his thang and so did Ye...

in order to undertand the direction that Ye went in this album you'd really have to get in his head. i think thats what hip hop is about. well atleast thats the kind of music i love. once you get past the beat and his bad use of auto-tune lmao you would really appreciate his artistic views.

thats the difference between Ye and Luda. Ye is an ARTIST, Luda is a RAPPER...a GREAT rapper at that.

I cant cant call it. im digging both

the content of KanYe's album was dope..
it had everything that would make a dope hip hop album.
i dont expect everybody to like it becuz ur views arent aimed @ Hip Hop like this..
imo Kanye album was better...
